Having a problem with Expression tool in Tiger. It won't let me assign an expression to a note or single staff. In the Expression Selection window, the Note Expression tab won't allow me to change it at all and using the Expression pulldown menu won't work either because when I select Attach to Note then try to assign a dynamic to a note, nothing happens. The other menu selections assign a dynamic to all the staves.

Any ideas?

Thanks

This problem may not be related to Tiger.
But let's try to find out.
I suggest that you post the file here.

Interestingly enough, it started to work when I exited Finale then opened it up again. Little things like that.

Anyone else having a problem with command/Q not quitting Finale on Tiger?

Thanks

Did you repair permissions when you upgraded?

Slarty-

Utilities>Disk Utility>repair permissions.

For everyone - I use a shareware utility called Cocktail, recommended by MacFixit. run it prior to ANY upgrade or new software installation and immediately after the install. It does the repairs, runs the cron scripts (daily, weekly & monthly) that are built to run within the system, cleans caches, etc.

I have had NO problems with any installation since I started using it with my Panther install maybe a year ago. get it it's great, maybe $20.

Hope this helps.

Also run it every so often to keep things in tune.
