When I invoke the Print dialog box using F2005 on Mac OS 10.4.1, the Copies and Page Range boxes won't respond to any key strokes. I cannot delete the default "1"s nor can I overwrite them with other numbers. Tabbing scrolls through the three boxes, but nothing else works. This happens with both my printers - a HP PostScript laser printer and a Canon ink jet. It does not happen with other apps such as MS Word, Adobe Reader, or Preview.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

I can't reproduce the problem here nor have we received any reports of this problem with Tiger. If a reboot doesn't clear up the problem, I would suggest contacting tech support directly at [email protected].

I'm having the exact same problems with printing to my HP Deskjet 5460. Oddly, I find everything works fine the first time I print after launching Finale, but not for subsequent attempts.

Any help would be much appreciated. I've downloaded the latest drivers from the HP website.

I'm having a similar problem. I am using Finale 2005b on an iMac G5 running OS 10.4.2. I am using a HP 2610xi printer. When I try to print a document from Finale, it will only print the first page. I've tried different documents, same problem. This is not a problem with any other application, only Finale. Any ideas?

Thanks,

bbigtrab

This also exists in 2006 with 10.4.2.

I think you can use the Finale printing instructions to get around the problem. So from the print dialog box pop "Copies & Pages" down to "Finale 200x" and put your page range in there.

Note: in all the messages before mine the printer was a HP. I don't have any printer selected on this computer and had the problem.

I just discovered that I can wake up the page range in the print dialog by (in my case) going from "No Printer Selected" to "Print and Fax Preferences" and back.

You might try swtiching printers or something like that.
