This is a random problem. Every now and then (I would say 20% of the time), Finale doesn't load Audio Unit Instruments when opening a document. This is just annoying if I remember to check the instruments right away, so I can close the document and reopen it; but if I start working on the document and accidentally save the file, I lose the instruments forever. Any suggestion?

I have also seen this occasionally in 2011. Haven't worked out a pattern to it.

SmartSoftSynth sounds aren't loaded into Bank 1-16.

It happened with GPO Instruments for Finale and Kontakt 3 instruments.

I've had the same problem, a few random times, with Finale 2010, and had to reload the instruments.
Just for info, unfortunately no solution.

On some files this happens to me way more than 20% of the time. I'd say it's more like 80% or 90%. It's pretty annoying to have to reload instruments when I open even though I know they were there when I saved. Fortunately I'm using small ensembles.

Someone please help.
