For diminished and augmented chords, how do I change the font size for the lower case "o" and "+"?
Is there a way to use a triangle (and change its size) to represent major seventh chords?

These are in the chord suffixes and how to change them depends on several things, including: which program and year you are using, which font you are using.

Really? The procedure for editing chord suffixes has changed? I don't see it.

Select the Chord Tool. Click the chord you want to edit. (oh yeah, this changed recently.) Either double click the chord, or hit Return to open the Chord Definition dialogue box. Make sure the button Show Advanced is clicked to open the big dialogue box. At the bottom, under Suffix, click Edit.

Hit the Prev and Next buttons until you get to the character you want to change. It is probably the first character. Click Set Font. Change the size to something bigger. Okay your way back to the score. Every instance of this suffix will now reflect the new size, in this document. If you want this change to extend to your new documents, you will have to make this change in your default document.

If you want to use a triangle, you will have to find a font with that character in it that matches your other suffixes. I would bet that the suffix already exists in one of the supplied chord suffix libraries, so load some up and look around.

Notepad, SongWriter and PrintMusic can't edit the suffixes. That's part of why knowing the program is important. I didn't mean Finale from year to year, although there are some changes there as well. Also, as with JazzCord, the individual characters are not editable.
