I am trying to print a 4-8 measure single staff of conventional music
notation. I have several Text Boxes to fill in on screen of by hand when
printed.

Everything prints double. Other Finale files print find. I made a form in
Finale with no music as a "Master", then have filled in notation, text and
words. I am using an iMac with Finale 2001d and an Epson Stylus USB
printer. It prints fine from other programs and other Finale files.

I have performed Date Check and it removed many deleted items. After
doing "Test File Integrity" and passing, this same double printing occurs.

I will try to attach a file. I can fax a file if needed. Thanks for any

Jim,

I am unable to open your file attachment. Must be corrupted somehow.

I suggest that you attach the document again.

And perhaps you should give it a short file name, ending with the name extension ".mus" so that also Windows users will have a chance to open it.

I found the problem. I was printing a simple song analysis sheet with
standard music notation and "Kodaly" stick notation. Since Staff changes
are Global (no lines, clef or noteheads), I had to make a graphic of the
stick notation and include it under the 4-8 measures of standard notation.
The default Graphic format in the dialogue box is .EPS - I just clicked OK.
I'm using an inkjet printer instead of a postscript printer.

When printing was fine without the graphic, even this Mac user caught
on. So, I now use the TIFF format and I'm flying again.

I'm looking at a ream of style sheet and was a bit worried.

Thanks Peter for trying. these Mac users are something else with their
file names ... I'll try to remember the real world out there when passing
files.
