My finale program has suddenly screwed
up. All of the sudden, the sound is
coming out all garbled up. I can still kind
of make out the notes, but it's all warbley
and staticy. It's not my sound card or
speakers or anything like that, because
all my other applications sound fine, so
it's a finale specific problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

If so, please send them to
[email protected]

Thanks,
Scott Barkan

It could be Quicktime.

Revert back to version 4.x (including extensions, and especially
the QuickTime Musical Instruments extension).

This happens to me with any midi
playback if it goes through my external
playback, internal speakers playback
normal.

Is this a quicktime problem as well?

Before reverting, (which is a good suggestion, IMHO) try shutting off Virtual memory. Some have had success with that.
