Hi there,

The MIDI goblins are once again causing havoc!

I have a Mac G4 Dual 1 Ghz
120 Gig Hard Drive
768 MB

I am using Finale 2003a and also Cubase SX

I had been using a serial port MOTU interface with a Keyspan converter to use it as a USB. That worked fine with Finale but not on Cubase SX (which is made for Mac OSX)

Now I have purchase a USB MIDISPORT 4X4. The Problem is I cannot get the MIDI to work on the Finale program. It works fine on CUBASE SX so I know it is set up properly.

However, since Finale 2003a is still running only on Mac 9.2.2 I have had to always to open Finale with the Mac Classic OS available on my computer. Still I cannot seem to get the MIDI Sport to work on the Finale. Any ideas? When I try to make a new setting on Free Midi it says no port available?
