Hi Folks,

Is that possible to highlight some measures and ask finale to double the note values of the selecte notes by change whole notes to half notes, half notes to quarter notes, etc? if so, how?

Any help would be greately appreciated.

Yes. You can use Change Duration to double the notes' durations, then rebar as appropriate. Make sure that all empty measures are converted to real rests. There are several threads where people have asked about it.
You could create a Finalescript to do all these actions in one go, of course.

Thanks for the reply! I could find an answer to this in the forum. I would like to learn more about scripting in Finale! Is there any manual or guide for Finalescript? Sorry, couldn't find that either. The manual of Final2010 is not helpful.

thanks again,
