It's not clear to me the number of licenses that come with the upgrade. How many computers can I install Finale on with the single payment of 139.95?
Thanks

It has not changed, AFAIK, two(2).

You can install Finale 2014 on as many machines as you wish, but you can only have it Authorized on two machines simultaneously.

And, according to the license, you can only use one machine at a time.

Correct me if I am wrong, since I have authorized all my copies I don't remember, but doesn't Finale require you to authorize before it will run unimpeded?

Yes, and that's the point. You can install it on six machines, if you like, but it can only be AUTHORIZED on two at a time. Fortunately, if you have a reliable internet connection, this process is (usually) quick and painless.
