Well, here's a new mystery! Today for some reason I can't select the font I ordinarily use in the Lyrics window. It's missing from the dropdown list. This happens on Finale 2014.5 and Finale 2012. However, if I look in a different program (I have tried MS Office and LibreOffice), the font does appear in the dropdown font list, so something screwy is going on. All the usual rebooting, reinstalling the font etc. has no effect. However, if I type in the name of the missing font in the font name window, Finale does find the font and does use it correctly, so at least there is a circumvention.
Looks like MS has changed something (again) so now there's another problem for the MM folks to sort out... idea

If it's a post script font, look for a folder "PS Fonts" in the root of C: drive.

Nope; sorry, John. It's TTF. And it´s been working happily on my various systems for years, since Windows Vista through 7 and 10 but just disappeared today. OK, it might have happened a couple of days ago, but no earlier.

Very odd, indeed! If it continues, I'd put in a ticket to MM.
