What I'm trying have in Finale 2014a is New/Saved docs open in Scroll View and have them automatically appear in Book Style:Row when I eventually switch to Page View. Instead, when switching to Page View they always default to Looseleaf Style:Current Page Only.

Seems the only way to have Book Style:Row be the Page View's default is to set it as such in Preferences>New under "New Document Windows". However, this means I can no longer have my docs open in Scroll View.

Am I missing something? I was able to have the desired behavior in Finale 2011 using "Scroll View" as the default option in Preferences.

I've tried in Preferences choosing "Scroll View" as default while also setting Page View's drop-down menu to Book Style:Row (this is how it's set in Finale 2011). Yes, I've saved prefs both manually and during Quit but no luck.

Any ideas?
