My two stave measures for piano don't have the vertical line between measures all the way through like I'm used to. Is that configurable?

i tried 500 ms and that helped. I think it is a Finale problem because when the metronome starts clicking the countdown there is a delay after the first click. I have finale 6 printmusic.
