He' s using speedy note entry. We tried different cables. Haven't tried the midi thru on/off thing yet, but I'll tell him about it tomorrow. We also took my keyboard over there and it did the same...

The micnotator didn't appear to be on, and it is still doing it after checking. Any other ideas? Kia

My student has an interesting problem with midi input. He only tries to put in one note at a time, but gets wildly divergent notes in addition, sometimes 26 leger lines below and above! Sometimes 20...
