So it turns out I asked this very same question years ago with the old machine. It was never solved, even with the Uno: http://forum.makemusic.com/default.aspx?f=5&m=340141 Interesting that it worked...

...Okay, Zuill, how does it feel to always be right? :P But there's still a lot of latency on this. Is there a way to fix that? I have an old M-Audio Uno; maybe I need a newer model?

Hmmm...well I have one, but that's what it was going through on my laptop when I first saw the problem. But I'll dig it out and give it a whirl...maybe it will work fine on this computer.
