Thanks for all the advice. I do have LoopBe, and of course that works. I also got Finale back to the original mode.

So I got Finale to act as a slave to Reaper, and I was even able to receive audio from Finale. I couldn't seem to get any MIDI however. Does it matter what I choose for my MIDI out device settings?...
